As you may know, Watsonville Brillante is the ambitions mosaic project that will cover the entire exterior of the Civic Plaza Parking Garage in Downtown Watsonville by the end of 2024. Community Arts & Empowerment sent a “Family Demographics Survey” to identify the groups of people living in Watsonville in order to represent them all. Local youth and artists were asked to produce symbols and patterns that represent their own cultures/heritages. The images have been approved by the City of Watsonville and will go on the smaller horizontal panels of the parking garage. Thank you for your participation and support in making this project come to life! Below are the results of the artwork/images that were submitted based on the survey.
