Artist statement:
My cultural heritage means a lot to me but for the most part I believe it makes up a lot of who I am and it defines where my family came from. Watsonville to me is where I was born and raised, my origin. Watsonville has given me lots of opportunities and I see it as a city of hard work. Being a public artist to me means having a platform to share any art I make to an infinite amount of people who can see it, a chance to have the whole world see what I can create.
