Artist Statement:

My cultural heritage reminds me of who I am and where I come from. From my perspective, I see it as passed down cultural heritage from older family members that is continuing to live on through me and those still here.  To me, Watsonville is the place that I truly know. The place that I call “home”, where I met tons of people, and a small town where I created a numerous amount memories that will stay with me forever. Being considered a public artist for the first time is cool. The fact that people are going to be able to view my work that I once did in high school is staggering.
