Artist statement:

I enjoy having a family that is multi -cultural.   My grandmother is from Hungary and her family helped Jewish friends escape during WWII, then they had to escape Hungary themselves. We still have traditional Hungarian food like poppyseed cake and we also celebrate Hungarian holidays like St. Nicholas’ Eve.
