All cultures are beautiful and should be respected. My culture heritage embodies a lot for me. Such as language, food & music. My father was an immigrant, a political refugee. He was able to flee his country and bring our culture here to the Bay Area. I hang on dearly to our culture, because my dad died when I was 11 years old. Watsonville has made me feel as part of the community by including my artwork for the Brillante Project. I love the diversity in Watsonville.  I like that people can enjoy my art & feel what I was trying to express through my artwork. It’s been exciting to be a part of this community project.
